Who runs this place?!
My name is Loonar! Or magpieofthevoid. I draw the adventures of Scrump Squad, a family of creatures called Smes. Smes are little pig-cow-like fellas who love fruit, especially apples. Part of the woods they live in was built on by a commercial orchard, so to survive and support the others in the woods they scrump what apples they can. More on this soon!

Frootsme
[Froot-sme]Frootsme is the youngest of the family; he was found by Pigsme and Shmae in a blackberry thicket (maybe that's why he's purple?) and brought home. About the same size as Pigsme, he's great at wiggling into small spaces and thorns don't seem to bother him.
Frootsme is often called Poot by his bros, and you'll find him at the bottom of every Scrump Squad page. You'll may also see him at the markets Loonar takes him to!
Pigsme
[Pig-sme]Pigsme was the smallest of his bros (until Frootsme appeared) but he's ready to lead when it comes to scrumping efforts. Often stuck in the middle of Jeff's arguments with Shame, Shmoo and Eugene, he tries to keep the peace and the family happy.
Pigsme loves talking to the others in the woods, and sharing the various things he and his family make from the apples they scrump.
Bigsme
[Big-sme]Also known as Jeff, he claims the oldest, but noone's really sure. He's very close to his smaller bros Pigsme and Frootsme, but also standoffish to Shmae, Shmoo and Eugene. He doesn't live with the others and prefers not to scrump, living on his barge and traversing the canal that runs through the woods.
Jeff loves to trade with the ducks that live near the canal, and often brings back strange things back to the family home.
Shmaesme
[Sh-may-sme]Shmae is the muscle of the family, happy to help out with any building or repair needs of those who live in the woods. She butts heads the most with Jeff, but tries to be civil for Pigsme and Frootsme's sake.
At home, Shmae is usually preparing the apples, either cutting them up or smooshing them up.
Shmoosme
[Sh-moo-sme]Shmoo is happy to take life easy. He mostly hangs out with his bro Eugene, and together they focus on making the 'cider'. Unfortunately, it never ends up fermenting for long, as they get a little too excited about drinking it asap.
Shmoo tells everyone the ring on his horn is the One Ring, but it's just a replica he got from Jeff's trade haul one time.
Eugenesme
[Yu-jeen-sme]Eugene is a romantic at heart, loving to imagine Regency-style scenarios with his fiance, a particularly rectangular goat called Gustavo. Eugene also made Frootsme his little scarf, crocheting it from yarn Jeff traded for.
Eugene loves to grow veggies outside the family home, and is slowly expanding his allotment.
